Catalog update - March 2023, version 22.11

On March 10, 2023, the University Day, the library catalog was updated. It not only had the character of ongoing maintenance of the library system, but also introduced beneficial changes for users.

The first of these is the enrichment of the set of facets. To the existing ones (Author, Library, Location, Place, Series, Subject, Document Type, Title) were added: Work, Genre, Language, Recipient, Year of publication, Subject: Time, Subject: Work, Subject: Place, Subject: Name. 

Additional facets are new options for filtering search results. The new set based on the solutions used in the Central Catalogue of Libraries "Fides" and the Catalog of Dominican Libraries in Poland.

The second change is the acceleration of the catalog by replacing the existing search engine (Zebra) with a new, much faster one (ElasticSearch).

Starting with version 21.11, used in the Library since June 2022, the Koha community has released versions 22.05 and 22.11.
